Technical grade vegetable oils are used to produce cosmetics, paints, varnishes and components for biodiesel. They are also used in the medical and pharmaceutical industries for the production of soaps and laundry detergents.

Vegetable fodder oils are used on a massive scale in the production of feeds, ensuring higher energy content. They contain a large amount of the valuable ingredient that is linoleic acid. This ingredient has a very positive and significant effect on egg size in laying hens; the oil contains many vitamins such as A, D, E, K.

Food grade vegetable oils are used extensively in the food industry.
